Each week, Hilary at Feeling Beachie lists four statements with a blank for you to fill in on your own blogs. If you want to join the fun and come up with four fill in’s of your own, please email them to her at feelingbeachie@gmail.com. If used you will be added as co-host to the hop! This week’s co-host is Janice from Janice’s Footsteps (she came up with the last two statements)
I would LOVE it if you could please help me spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
- I ___ so much __ in a day
- I don’t like ____ but I love ___
- When I watch_______ I ____
- I have ________in my wallet.
My Answers:
- I type so much on the computer in a day. Mostly doing nothing of importance!
- I don’t like cooked carrots but I love raw carrots. Weird, I know. Cooked carrots—I detest them and have since I was a baby according to my mom!
- When I watch weddings I cry even if I don’t know the people.
- I have fortunes from fortune cookies in my wallet for a later blog post.

Last night my fortune read: Someone is watching your smile. It creeped me out. when did stalkers get hired by the fortune cookie makers.
Well, I almost could have written this, with slight variations! My typing is mostly my poetry & stuff..important, if only to me. I also do not like cooked carrots; they are too sweet. I like them au natural & crunchy. I cry at sentimental stuff, even in books & TV. I have kept many fortunes, not sure why…good idea there!
I bet I spend six hours and a computer everyday between work, writing, and surfing. Love your #3 answer. I cry when I watch fake weddings on TV shows.
My husband has that same feeling about carrots. Fortunes, hmm, now that is so interesting!
I love carrots fresh and cooked just a little. I keep my fortunes on my frig for a while and then throw them away since they don’t really mean anything.
I love your fortune cookie comment… never thought of that… perhaps there is a novel embedded in one of them?
OMG, can I steal the fortune cookie idea? What wonderful writing prompts! BTW, I’m with ya on the carrots. They are soooo gross when cooked!
Go ahead–steal away! I have done at least one post of them before. And btw, my hope story airs Monday. Nothing like yours but still my story!
Yay! Can’t wait to read it!
I remember I hated carrots when I was luttle. My parents would make me sit at the table until I ate one.
My oldest son hates cooked veggies. He wants them raw.
Here’s My Answers
As long as he eats them raw I wouldn’t worry!!! I think sometimes it is all about texture!
I also cry at weddings. I do like cooked carrots.
I will give you my share of cooked carrots anytime!!!
i thought you were anti all carrots…
Nope–just cooked!
You just don’t have the right carrots! lol
So I have been told!
I tend to cry at weddings as well, whether I know the people or not. Also at proposals. I love it when people are that much in love. It’s quite a change from all the drama we tend to see.
Jennifer—-I just cried watching a video of servicemen and women coming home surprising their families. What does that say about me???
That confirms what we already know about you Beth Ann. You are a wonderful caring person.
Aren’t you so sweet? And so good for my ego!!!
I’m the same way about crying at weddings. I cry super easy and it doesn’t take much to get me going. Also, my kids won’t think you are weird at all… they will only eat raw carrots, never cooked!
I know exactly what you mean. I am “sensitive”…or something. Glad your kids agree with me!
