Teapot Tuesday

Happy Birthday to my big sis today!  Seems appropriate to feature a cute little teapot that she got for me.  This one is perfect for a cup or two and comes with a cozy sweater to keep it nice and warm !  All in my favorite color--red!!!  Hopefully we will be putting all of those sweaters away soon.   “She gave in to a hankering for a cup of tea even though she knew that the idea of a cup of tea-sitting still, calmly sipping-was more appealing than actually sitting still and … [Read more...]

Count the Happies!

I am a happy person.  It is just who I am.  God made me happy.  That, in my humble opinion, is a good thing.  I try to look on the bright side of things.  Glass half full.  Walking on the sunny side of the street.  Living the dream. Several years ago I found a book written by Neil Pasricha called The Book of Awesome.  It was amazing.  I bought multiple copies.  I gave it to family and friends for birthdays and special occasions.  I started my own list. We all go through bumps in the road. … [Read more...]

Teapot Tuesday

This odd little fellow was advertised on Ebay as a hippopotamus teapot but once I got it I wasn't quite sure if that is indeed what it is.   I got it for $5 so it was a bargain but still---what do YOU think it is?   Maybe hippos look differently in Nepal?  All guesses are appreciated.  :-) She raised her hand to cut me off. "I am aware of your epistolary flirtation. Which is all well and good--as long as it's well and good. Before I ask you some questions, perhaps you would like … [Read more...]

That’s A Lot of Bull……Head

We had to get out of the house.  We didn't want to venture too far but wanted to go do something outside so we headed out after consulting Oddball Iowa--A Guide to … [Read more...]
