Life with an adult with Down Syndrome is interesting. I always thought I knew my brother in law, Carlton, but until I actually lived with him for 6 months I did not have a clue. Not that I got it all figured out after 6 months of living with him but I do understand a lot more than I did before and that is a good thing. I received this Valentine's Day card in the mail from my sister the other day. She thinks she is so funny. Oh she thinks she is soooooo funny. You see when we were growing up we all had chores to do. I love to watch basketball and even if I do not know all of the rules I do love to watch a great competition. Both of our boys played rec ball growing up and I loved to go watch those games. Aaron was a scrappy little player and even if he was small he hung in there with the big guys.
