“Each of us can look back upon someone who made a great difference in our lives, someone whose wisdom or simple acts of caring made an impression upon us. In all likelihood it was someone who sought no recognition for their deed other than the joy of knowing that, by their hand, another's life had been made better.” Stephen M. Wolf We all have them. Those saints who have touched our lives and made a difference in all that matters in our world. People who make a difference without … [Read more...]
Some People You Never Forget
I saw a quote today that resonated with me. Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don't have to compromise convictions to be compassionate. ----Rick Warren----- I loved the above quote from Rick Warren and while I imagine it was spurred on because of the current "equality" campaigns I … [Read more...]

It’s Just Life With Friends
Part of our recent trip was a trip back "home" to Mooresville, NC where we lived for about 9 years. It seems a long time ago since we moved in 2007 and even though I have been back numerous times Chris has not made the trip with me. Being the nice guy that he is he funds my trips ! But this time we made it a point to stop for the night there and see some friends and catch up. There is nothing like friends who know you, who have lived through life with you and walked similar paths. … [Read more...]
