Library Love NCSU Style
On a recent trip to Raleigh, North Carolina to visit our youngest son we had the fun of going to go see the new Hunt Library at North Carolina State University--his alma mater. It was beyond amazing. There's that word again! It was fabulous!!! It was stupendous! It was incredible! It was out of this world! Okay--enough of the superlatives. Some People You Never Forget
I saw a quote today that resonated with me. Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone's lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. Mailbox Views
Spring is coming. Spring is coming. Spring is coming. I am standing on one leg, turning slowly in circles with my hands on my head chanting. I keep hoping that if I do a ritual like this it will really come true. This past week after we dug out from a lovely storm that dumped about 7 inches on our area I drove into town and laughed at the state of affairs of many of the mailboxes along one road in particular.
